While an apprentice electrician, Andrew had a better idea for a drop-in anchor setting tool. He and Roger worked on a manual lathe to produce a prototype.
Andrew worked closely with an attorney to document the tool with the goal of acquiring a patent.
The necessary paperwork was filed with the state of Nebraska to become a real business entity.
Andrew and Roger worked closely together to make the first workable PSet tool – the P38OH (which would continue on with further refinements).
After finding that outside manufactures couldn’t produce the tool at a price point we desired, we set out to manufacture it outselves.
The first patent covered the method of use of the tool. Andrew filed another as an ‘article of manufacture’.
On May 28, 2019 the Patent 10,300,588 B2 was issued by the USPTO.
Using our own production facilities, Pauba Tool Works manufactured our first batch of P28OH tools.
